SOLO EXHIBITION OPENS IN TOKYO

Many friends, and interested members of the Tokyo American Club were present for the opening of WATERWORKS, my first solo exhibition in Tokyo, at the Frederick Harris Gallery.
Thanks to Saki Ochi and the hard wroking gallery committee, we were able to hang the show, and complete all the preparations necessary in plenty of time before the first guests arrived.
In addition to the 32 artworks on display in the exhibition, I was able to screen a 30 minute compilation of some of the video programs that I have been involved with over the past 30 years.
It was great to see many of my old KENWOOD CUP friends who stopped by, including CSTV Tokyo partner Kaoru Soehata and his wife Tomo, Tak Nakanishi, from KENWOOD, and Ken and Masako Toyosaki from KAZI magazine. Hideko Takagi, Keiichi Inamine from NHK , Hatsuka Sekiguchi, my brother Ted, Hiro and Akiko Okawa, and many others were also able to make it.
I will be in Tokyo for the duration of the show which ends on the 9th of July. If you happen to be in town, please stop by the gallery.
